Perfect Possession

Being “perfectly” or completely possessed by a demon typically refers to a belief or concept found in certain religious or spiritual traditions. It suggests that an individual’s body, mind, or spirit is under the control or influence of a supernatural entity.

Perfect possession denotes a state of being where a person has invited a spiritual entity or demon inside of oneself to coexist with oneself. In a sense, the person becomes at one with the entity and there is no struggle or wish to be free of said entity. There are cases where a person may later on decide that it was mistake and develops a strong will to be free of the entity or demon, but because the being has become integrated with one’s body, mind, and subtle body, it is very difficult to disentangle from it. It is not impossible and one should never give up hope or fall into total despair of gaining freedom. To become free involves a lot of prayer, effort, and usually the aid of a Christian priest or exorcist.
